Our memory is made of windows, fragments of stories we have listened to, images we have seen, emotions we have felt, ever since we were little ones. Memories live in these windows, that we can open and close them. Memories in black and white, pleasant and unpleasant ones, that turn the past into present for a little while and that we can relive thanks to our imagination. As we grow up, memories can turn into questions – like the ones children ask grown-ups –, and they do so with a lightness and an innocence that seem to make the most difficult ones, the ones without an answer, almost weightless: Will the past ever come back? or If something no longer exists, why does it continue to keep on living inside me, both in my dreams and memories and why does it seem so real?

Arrow, a deflated ball abandoned by its owner, will learn a very valuable lesson through his adventures. Our hero finds himself alone and forgotten because he is of no use now. Downtrodden, he is not ready to quit, not yet, because he needs to find the boy he once belonged to. Throughout his adventures, Arrow will discover the ,,universe’’ of the park, a hidden universe accessible only to those who actually inhabit it. He will realise how important friends are and why trusting those close to you can change your destiny. In the end he will acknowledge the importance of the second chance and the efforts such an event implies. A new beginning requires change, and change is not possible without determination, but our hero has a lot of it.

Why do the hands get twisted? Why do the legs take different directions? Why does one have a tail and the others do not? The word “why” is the key to understanding and knowledge. “Mix” is a mixture. The show throws questions in the air about the meanings and interpretations of bodily movement. The Why Mix Remix is a geometric, thrilling, colourful and partially serious mixture of contemporary dance, mime and music. The show ponders on children’s reduced bodily expression and movement constructions in the era of smartphones and emojis.

A delicate portrait of fragility, isolation, disconnection from yourself and others, violence and everything that transports us along the tightrope of life. The movement of two people and their vulnerability; how they inhabit and experience it to accept the fact that it forms part of their essence. Where do we go when we disconnect? When fragility envelops us, what is the space within us like? LaBú Theatre invites you to feel, experience, embrace and lose yourself in this fragility.
Fragile 2.0 is the third production of LaBú Theatre, a performance in which the deconstruction of movement and visual poetry transport the audience to a state of reflection.

One of the most beloved stories written by Ion Creangă, The bear tricked by the fox, comes to the stage as a show inspired by the current state of our society. The main themes of the story, gluttony and gullibility, will be represented in an entertaining yet shrewd way. There is gonna be a show within a show, because the Fox, our hero, will put on a whole performance in order to fool the Villager and the Bear. But which one of them is more gullible? There is a reason why the question ‘’How did the bear lose its tail?’’ is so popular and the public will learn the answer during the show. Our guide in this story is gonna be a histrionic fish. If usually we invite the audience to cheer on the heroes, this time we advise caution because the Fox is very deceitful and resourceful.

Led by an invisible thread, in front of us, a huge ball of wool and three enchanting characters will appear one by one. A character comes from the past, another lives with us in the present, and another travels from the future. Could they be protective goddesses or sisters with the Moon, the Sun or the Earth? Together with the three characters we will start unravelling the threads around us. The thread multiplies, transforms and invites us to discover it. The music will create movements like waves on the surface of the water, and you will be lured to roam with them the world. Tales with threads is the ideal universe for any child who lets himself be separated from the hands of his parents and, guided by curiosity, enjoys exploring the unknown.

Exit the King essentialize the human experience, showing us everything it has to offer, joy, happiness, bliss, fear. When we get a sense that the end is near, each and everyone of us has a choice when it comes about reacting to that fact. The author aimed to show how a man who does not agree with his own dissolution responds. Bèrenger, the main character, will go through all the emotions that such an event can invoke, from refusal, to revolt, to resignation. And in the end, he will realize that this is precisely where the beauty of the human life resides.

The main characters are three geometric bodies, as the show goes forward, these bodies acquire human qualities, establishing a connection with the public. Music, poems, and images complete this interpretation of geometry with moments where the audience can interact with the show thanks to 3D projections and special glasses. This show will offer an unforgettable experience.

Suggestive images that stimulate the senses, that provoke children's play. These images change shape and colour when they’re touched, when they’re chased. All of these are present on stage ready to make the little spectators want to meet with the shooting stars, men with umbrellas falling from heaven and other fantastic characters. This show is a very good example of the ’’magic of theatre’’, because in a finite space, the spectators are going to interact with colourful spots which showers everything and everyone with rays of light, giving the impression of an entirely different space.

A participatory experience for audiences aged over 6 years old that combines urban dance, contemporary culture, object manipulation and experimentation with the physics of colour and light. Light, objects and modern dance get together to offer the spectators a unique experience that allows simultaneous interaction with all the elements mentioned above. CUTInE is a show which invites the audience no matter their age to discover the posibilities they can give to a defined space and to some simple objects. Through their interactions the actors will encourage audience members to use or to rediscover their curiosity. The children are invited to "compete" with the actors in discovering the space and in finding ideas for transforming it. The starting point for the show is the desire of the two characters to find each other. In order to be able to emphasize the power of a gesture in relation to another person, but also in relation to an object or the environment, the show was designed as nonverbal.

Acting Dream Theater is the first independent musical theatre in Romania, founded in 2015. Although this a innovative initive, the project has managed to attract a team of professionals who put their talents at work for this idea. Acting Dream Academy, the musical theatre school, was born out of the desire to build something new, something that would represent them completely. The purpose of the school was to prepare children and teenagers, at a high level, and then to produce children’s theatre shows.
In 2016, the first production of the Acting Dream Academy came to life. The musical “Away from home”, exclusively interpreted by children, speaks about the true values in life, where human beauty is treasured as a virtue. It is the only show of this type in Romania, staged in a professional theatre. After that, the team produces musicals such as: White Lies, The Jungle Book, Heartbeat and Cinderella.

Auraco’s performances trust the performers’ presence and the vulnerability of the movement itself. With minimalistic or no décor, the performers fill the empty stage, creating a responsive atmosphere. The relationship with the audience is open and sensitive. The performances break boundaries between the performers and the audience. Audience development is a key element of Auraco’s work.

On May 4, 1965, the Ion Creangă Theatre welcomed its audience for the first time and delighted them with the story of Harap Alb - the first legendary hero who stepped on the Theatre's stage. Since that moment, the Ion Creangă Theatre continuously focused its efforts on innovation in terms of children's theatre, but also on forming a team that can carry forward this ideal of a theatre entirely dedicated to children.
Time went by and many artists, actors, dancers and directors, have influenced our history, from Marietta Sadova, to Ion Cojar and Cornel Todea - probably the most important figure of the theatre, after Ion Lucian - the one who laid the foundations of this theatre. It supports emerging theatre creators since its inception, in 1958, and it has been a perfect host for young graduates and debutants to become some of the most important actors on Romanian stages or directors that influenced European and American theatre. The core coordinates of The Theatre of Youth in its current phase are: collaboration, community, contemporary, regional, national and international co-production. The artistic direction is focused on educational projects and contemporary dramaturgy, including performances inspired and developed from community narratives based on texts written specifically for the actors.
Țăndărică Theatre spawns a history of more than 76 years and it still remains a beacon for today's trends in animation and visual theatre. Yearly, the spectators can choose from a repertoire of over 30 plays, with 6 premieres each year.
Because the theatre addresses an array of themes, both current and of interest, it shapes productions and projects which lead to a continuous expansion of the target audience.
At the same time, collaborating with Romanian directors and writers makes Teatrul Țăndărică a promoter of the local culture. Simultaneously, The theatre has also an international component. By participating in international festivals, Țândărică Theatre encourages cultural exchanges and international projects.
